| Peter The First is a startlingly good Russian restaurant, and should be high on the list of anyone with a taste for something different. The caviar and vodka selections are impressive, and the rest of the menu is as well put together as many of top European restaurants. Highly recommended. |

The Tsar would have been proud of The Russian Restaurant Peter The First - the restaurant has an air of well-deserved glory about it. The ornate framed pictures and mirrors laying against strong walls add to the bohemian feeling and the influence runs through to the menu which includes hearty dishes like stroganoff and pickled herrings. The waiters and waitresses are charming and always on hand to help without being in anyway overbearing. The Russian theme is highlighted even further every night when Russian music is performed live. Booking is essential (especially at weekends) so make sure you ring ahead. |
